After growing up all over the South, Liz Foster feels blessed to begin her broadcasting career in her home state. Liz realized her passion for news broadcasting at a young age, taping her own news shows on her family's video camera! Broadcasting fits Liz's personality perfectly, as she never meets a stranger and is a natural story-teller. Liz pursued her goals by earning a degree in Communication Arts with a major in Broadcasting at Georgia Southern University. She then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to intern at WBTV where she gained valuable news experience learning from great reporters. While at GSU, Liz was involved in many student organizations and loved holding leadership positions, especially in Zeta Tau Alpha. She hopes to get involved in community organizations here in Macon. Away from the cameras and the newsroom, Liz enjoys spending time with family and friends in Atlanta, playing with her Yorkie Bella, cooking, traveling and watching Braves baseball and Georgia & Georgia Southern football. Liz appreciates hearing from viewers and welcomes anyone to email with a story idea or just to say hello!
